How do I pay my hangar rent online?

CIRA now offers convenient online payment for hangar rent and other fees. Please visit our secure payment portal here.

How do I report a lost or stolen badge?

Reporting a lost or stolen badge immediately by calling 309-834-7396. It is important to terminate the access available with that badge as soon as possible.

I have a maintenance issue, where can I report it?

If you encounter an issue in your hangar or on the general aviation premise that requires attention, please submit a maintenance request form here. The CIRA team will be notified and you will be updated as the issue is resolved. Thank you for your partnership.

I would like to rent a hangar at BMI. What do I do?

Contact lynnette@cira.com for availability and fees.

I’m at an AOA vehicle gate and it isn’t closing. What do I do?

Please call Airport Operations at 309-834-7396 and wait for them to arrive. Do not leave a gate open/unattended.

My badge isn’t working at the AOA vehicle gate. What do I do?

What are the airport hours of operation?

BMI is open for aircraft takeoffs and landings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and operates as Class D airspace when open. After hours, BMI is an uncontrolled airport and operates as Class E when the ATCT is closed. Rented hangars can be accessed 24/7.
